Just a quick note on our visit to Weatherby on April 26th through the 28th. We were invited there to work with the Weatherby Executives including Ed, Adam, and Brenda Weatherby along with Weatherby employees and some of the greatest Writers/Editors in the industry, including:

The trip included doing the Thompson Long Range shooting class with complete instruction on rifle selection, bullet selection, scope mounting, and then shooting at the 100 yard indoor test range.
From there the groups traveled 30 minutes to the 1000 yard range with the rifles and scope packages they had put together during the class. Within minutes each group had advanced to the 1000 yard target and consistently stacked bullets in incredible groups despite a 10-12 mph cross wind!
Several were sub minute with one writer shooting a 6 inch group on his first try. A great experience for myself and Scott, along with a great testament to the quality of a factory rifle and its ability to shoot very well. All rifles were the new screaming 6.5-300 Weatherby. Stand back all other 6.5’s, here comes a Weatherby!
